ADK hires regional ECD as agency eyes growth beyond Japan

ADK has announced a string of hires as the creative agency network looks to build a stronger presence outside of its native Japan.

Joining the Asia Pacific part of ADK’s newly formed international unit ADK Global are Chris Gurney as regional executive creative director, Nick Morgan as Indonesia ECD and Kelvin Leong as China ECD.

Gurney joins from Geometry Global, where he was ECD for the WPP agency’s Singapore operations.

Morgan joins FCB Jakarta where he was ECD, while Leong was previously global ECD at FactoryLabs Shanghai.

Rob Sherlock, the recently appointed CEO of ADK Global, said: “We’re very excited to welcome Chris, Nick and Kelvin to ADK Global. 2016 is going to be a transformative year for the network and they are an integral part of making sure creativity is at the center of everything we do”.

Sherlock was global creative director before moving into the CEO role.
