Mercedes music video marks 20 years in India

Media agency MEC has collaborated with Mercedes-Benz and multichannel network Qyuki to produce a music video for India’s Auto Expo 2016.

The video, titled Khushnuma, tells the story of an aspiring young musician whose father does not approve of his career choice.

It features the sounds of Indian musicians such as AR Rahman, Shubha Mudgal, Ranjit Barot, Salim Merchant and Amit Trivedi.

The Khushnuma video played to accompany the display of Mercedes cars at the Auto Expo, and marks the German car maker’s 20th year in India.

Kumar Sinha, national head of content at MEC India said the message behind the video was about a “celebration of an individual’s quest for excellence.”

“The journey of overcoming challenges, flourishing and ultimately carrying that success home is captured in the music video,” he noted.
