An online video promoting a brand of tuna spread posted just before Valentine’s Day has raced to almost 2m views on Facebook in six days.

The video for Nautilus Tuna Spread, created by GREYnJ United, shows how hard it is for Thais to depart from their usual snack routine in the form of an agonising break-up between a lady and a grilled chicken vendor in downtown Bangkok.

The five and a half minute film was directed by well-known feature film director Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit.
