The new additions – all of which are men – include Theerapol “Tim” Koomsorn, who joins from Naga DDB in Kuala Lumpur where he was ECD to take on the same role in Bangkok, former Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA and BBDO creative Vasan Wangpaitoon who also joins as ECD, Sunny Ng from WPP’s specialist P&G agency as group creative director and Yee Kiang Tan, also from Naga, as creative director.

JWT says the hires are to “deepen” the agency’s creative bench, and has not clarified whether the appointments have been made to replace leavers.

“We welcome these wonderful additions, who bring creative firepower, new energy and a new dynamic to our expanding team,” said Parattajariya Jalayanateja, MD of J. Walter Thompson Bangkok in a press statement.
