Coconuts hires Nicholas Chan from Haymarket as commercial director

Coconuts has hired Nicholas Chan as commercial director based in Hong Kong.
Chan joins the local news network from Haymarket, where he was head of revenue for Campaign and PRWeek Asia for just under a year.
He will run sales for Coconuts Media across all of its websites – which cover local news Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bali, and Yangon – and revenue streams.
Chan joined the publisher of Campaign magazine from Time Out Australia, where he was commercial manager in April 2015.
He starts in his new job with Coconuts today.
In his career, much of which has been spent in Australia, Chan has worked on the media buying side, with OMD, as a relationship manager with Citi, and in 2009 he co-founded The Rice Den, a Cantonese restaurant in Sydney.
