Dentsu Indonesia boss exits

Bobby Arthawan

Bobby Arthawan

The boss of Dentsu Indonesia has moved on after just two years with the agency.

Bobby Arthawan joined as president director from GoMobile in 2014, linking up with a management team including Kenji Nogami, who moved from the Singapore office to take on the job of Indonesia CEO.

Arthawan quietly left the company last month.

Dick van Motman, Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia CEO, told Mumbrella that Arthawan had resigned, and his resignation had been accepted.

Nogami is to run the agency for now, while Dentsu Aegis considers whether another a replacement for Arthawan will be needed.

Before joining Dentsu, Arthawan was CEO of Indonesian mobile service firm GoMobile, where he helped launch the country’s first independent mobile ad platform.

Dentsu Aegis Network has undergone a series of recent management changes across APAC, with new leadership installed in the Philippines, Australia and, as of yesterday, Malaysia.
