Accidents hurt your family most warns Singapore Work Safety Council in emotionally charged ad by Grey

Grey has launched a campaign for Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Council that highlights the impact on families accidents in the workplace can have in an emotionally charge campaign directed by Royston Tan.

The film, which was based on a true incident, begins with a father teaching his daughter how to tie her shoelaces.

“Work accidents hurt your family most,” the film finishes.

The campaign, which is part of WSH’s Vision Zero initiative to curb work-related accidents, will features on TV, online, in print and in cinemas.

“Expecting… Waiting… And not returning home – these are the emotions that no one wants to ever experience. The bond between a father-daughter relationship is important, strong and lifelong so we built on this to emphasize the importance of workplace safety and how it can impact the family,” said Ali Shabaz, chief creative officer, Grey Group Southeast Asia.
