Happy Marketer launches social media training programme
Singapore-based digital marketing consultancy Happy Marketer has launched a social media training programme with Dialogue in the Dark.
The announcement:
Today, Dialogue in the Dark (DiD) Singapore partnered with Happy Marketer to launch a social media training programme. DiD Singapore is an exclusive simulation set-up co-designed by Social Lab Ltd and Dialogue Social Enterprise in Germany. Happy Marketer is an award-winning digital marketing consulting firm headquartered in Singapore.
The new programme will enable DiD interns to better market the social enterprise’s 12 flagship programmes through digital. The intent is also to raise awareness for social inclusion. Through hands-on exercises, case studies, and mentorship sessions, the interns learned about the relevant tools and techniques to enhance DiD’s online presence and engagement.
The programme in digital marketing benefited interns from different discipline backgrounds. Digital marketing is a powerful tool in branding and engaging customers. It is especially affordable for social enterprises and can maximize results when designed creatively.
The inspiration for the programme came after Happy Marketer’s Managing Partner, Prantik Mazumdar, spoke about social media marketing at DiD’s public conference – “Against All Odds” held in October 2015.
Said Mr Mazumdar, “It was an eye-opener for me to learn about the works of Dialogue in the Dark Singapore. I was fascinated to see how the visually impaired were trained and motivated to make the most of their other senses to live life to the fullest. Happy Marketer is excited to partner with DiD to improve its marketing efforts.”
On the partnership, Mrs Choo Cheh Hoon, Managing Director of Social Lab Ltd said, “We hope this collaboration will be a game changer for DiD. As a small social enterprise operated mainly by interns and visually impaired, marketing has always been a struggle for us because we lack the skills and knowledge. We are excited that Happy Marketer will be our industry mentors for our interns.”
