Havas Media Hong Kong promotes Andrew Cawte to MD

Andrew CawteAndrew Cawte has been promoted to managing director of Havas Media Hong Kong.

Cawte was previously running Havas Media International.

He takes on the role six months after previous MD Jason Kwong left and joined Publicitas as North East Asia and Australia MD.

Havas Media Group announces the appointment of Andrew Cawte as the Managing Director of the agency’s Hong Kong operations.

Andrew joined Havas Media initially as the General Manager of Havas Media International and within a span of few months was promoted to the role of Managing Director for Havas Media Group Hong Kong.

His key mandate will be to manage and grow the agency’s current clients, along with fuelling new business and developing talent in Hong Kong operations.

Based in APAC for over twenty years, Andrew was previously leading the HSBC account at Mindshare and was the head of strategy and of training & development for Mediacom in the region.

He has previously also worked with Grey Group and DMB&B in a career that has seen him based in multiple markets including Hong Kong, China, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK.

Andrew will report directly to Christophe Cases, CEO of Havas Media Group, Greater China.
