JC Decaux awarded Changi Airport advertising contract until 2022

Changi Airport GroupJC Decaux has retained the advertising contract for one of the region’s most coveted outdoor media properties, Singapore’s Changi Airport.

The contract is to run from 2018 until 2022, and includes the new Terminal 4, which is set to bring capacity for the airport up to 82 million passengers per year.

The French media company has held the business from 2011, and its current contract is to run until December 2017.

JC Decaux takes on the extended business with a brief to erect more landmark media at Changi, and improve existing features in all three terminals.

In a press release, Lim Peck Hoon, EVP of commercial for Changi Airport Group, said that Decaux had “changed the face of advertising” with the introduction of unique new media, and looked forward to further improvements.

JC Decaux’s first campaign for Changi Airport was for DBS in February 2011.
