Former Telstra content head Adam Good to lead digital for Dentsu branded agencies in APAC

Adam GoodDentsu has appointed the former head of digital content services at Australian telco Telstra as chief digital officer for Dentsu branded agencies across the region.

Adam Good brings 25 years experience into the newly created role, and will relocate from Sydney to Singapore, Dentsu Aegis Network’s regional headquarters.

He will report to Takaki Hibino, CEO of Dentsu branded agencies and Dentsu Media Asia Pacific.

Good’s move comes a month after James Hawkins was appointed to run newly created offering DM2, which saw Dentsu Möbius merged with media agency offering Dentsu Media.

Hibino commented: “Adam is a proven digital marketer in establishing and leading teams, and has a deep understanding of how brands are being built in the digital economy. Coupled with his global experience and strategic insight, we believe he is a great addition to the team and can drive us towards a greater degree of digital specialisation.”

Good left Telstra after a restructure of the marketing and media team by new CMO Joe Pollard at the end of last year. In his career, he has worked agency-side for Proximity Worldwide, where he was San Francisco-based EVP, and Tribal, where he was APAC head. He also had a stint at Clemenger.
