Nestlé Indonesia marcoms head Rubin Suardi moves to internet giant Kapanlagi

Suardi

The head of marketing and communications at Nestlé Indonesia, Rubin Suardi, has joined internet giant Kapanlagi as director of strategic planning.

The switch brings to an end one year on the client side of the business for the well respected media practitioner, who joined the FMCG company in April last year from Mindshare.

Suardi takes on a brief to take more advertisers online with Kapanlagi, and increase spend among existing clients.

Kapanlagi, which is one of Indonesia’s most exciting digital media companies, operating a large network of websites across verticals from celebrity gossip to movies, food and gaming, sold a majority stake to Singapore state broadcaster Mediacorp around the same time Suardi joined Nestlé. The firm moved into the multi-channel network space in February this year with the launch of Famous.ID.

Suardi spent 14 years of his career in two different stints at Mindshare, and the move to Kapanlagi marks his first stint with a publisher.
