Singaporeans warned to stay alert to terrorist attack in sobering ad by home affairs ministry

Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs has launched a startling campaign to remind Singaporeans to stay alert to potential terrorist attacks.

A video posted to YouTube today opens with a woman pushing her baby in a pram and a man walking to work who is bumped into by a hooded assailant.

“We all have a part to play in keeping Singapore safe. Stay alert, stay united, stay strong,” the campaign warns.

The ad directs the viewer to the website, although the site was down at the time of publishing.

Singapore’s government is currently in the process of selecting a panel of agencies to work on public sector projects. The process began at the beginning of the year, and has yet to be concluded.
