What’s the frequency Kenneth?

The IDA is having a hard think about who places its job ads from now on after an uncomfortable experience this afternoon.

The Singapore government IT department used the name of someone who had just vacated his post in a job ad that was plastered on several sites.

A replacement for Kenneth Yeo Wee

In a grovelling apology, the IDA said today that the person responsible was “new to the recruitment publishing tool and accidentally published the employee’s name instead of the job title”.

The person who made the mistake the IDA says has been “counselled”, which presumably does not mean they will meet the same fate as Kenneth.
