Analogfolk wins regional digital brief for Pernod Ricard

Independent digital agency Analogfolk has won regional digital duties for Pernod Ricard.


The announcement:

Pernod Ricard Asia has named AnalogFolk Asia as it’s lead digital agency following a year of service in which the Agency has distinguished itself on two major projects.

Since first engaging with Pernod Ricard Asia, AnalogFolk has worked closely with the regional client team to create a multi-brand social acceleration program that is rolling out across APAC and beyond. The program is designed to raise the standards of Pernod Ricard’s social marketing efforts across all channels to the highest level, and has also recently been adapted to cater for the unique mainland China market.

In addition, the Agency was responsible for the launch of Pernod Ricard’s pilot Bar Stars platform (in partnership with The Media Village), which offers a tool to help Hong Kong’s social seekers find the very best cocktail bars and bartenders in the city. The agency is currently underway with the second release of this platform.

AnalogFolk’s remit will include ongoing digital marketing strategy and consultation across Asia for Pernod Ricard’s regional team. There is no incumbent for the role.

The agency – based in Hong Kong but with plans to expand across Asia – has officially been in operation since June last year. Pernod Ricard Asia was the first client for the Agency’s Hong Kong office.

On announcing the preferred agency status, Glen Brasington said ”The AnalogFolk team has been able to offer a high calibre of strategic thinking across both major projects – in social marketing and in UX and Design – with great results. AnalogFolk recently announced the hire of Jocelyn Liipfert Lam, who has built a career in Greater China, and Summer Yang, the Agency’s Strategy Manager recently hired from Abercrombie & Fitch in Shanghai.
