The announcement:

Petaling Jaya, 18 July 2016 – In its bid to reach out to new audiences, natural herbal skincare brand, Natasya Princess, enters into a collaboration with TV3 as the Official Sponsor of the 16th Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) Games highlights. Through the sponsorship, TV3 will be presenting highlights from the national sporting event to be held in Sarawak this year on Malaysia’s most-watched prime time news, Buletin Utama sports segment, from 22 – 31 July 2016.

Natasya Princess is an established brand owned and distributed by Perwanza Properties & Trading Sdn Bhd, a successful Malaysian company that has been undergoing rapid development since its inception as a husband-and- wife business in the year 2000. Initially marketed in Penang and Kedah, the brand slowly gained confidence from consumers and started to expand their wings to Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and the rest part of the country.

Speaking at the press conference to announce the partnership, YBhg Dato’ Suhaimy Othman, Chief Executive Officer, Perwanza Properties & Trading said, “It is a momentous milestone for us at Perwanza to be part of this iconic event. Thinking back, we have certainly come far from our humble beginnings. Now, we are able to share the excitement and bring Malaysian sports fans with a play by play of their favourite sporting events. We hope the partnership will extend Natasya Princess to be a synonymous name in every household in the nation.”

The collaboration also represents a unique sports sponsorship, where TV3 serves as a platform that plays a part in supporting local entrepreneurs and helping them grow their business.

“We at Media Prima Berhad, including TV3 have been supporting local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and contributed to the success of many brands in Malaysia. As we observed, if SMEs have the aspiration to scale up, they must be smart with their investment and keep their marketing efforts focused on the right type of audience. With our position as Malaysia’s No. 1 TV channel with over 5 million daily viewership and a history in bringing engaging content, we have the reach, insight and expertise that brands require. By working together, brands can engage with their intended audience on the right channels in a meaningful way,” said Datuk Seri Mohd Ashraf Abdullah, Group Managing Editor, Television Networks, Media Prima Berhad.

The SUKMA Games highlights brought by Natasya Princess on TV3 Buletin Utama will include live coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies. Throughout the tournament, Buletin Utama will provide round up across 24 sporting events at four locations, including Sibu, Miri, Samarahan and Kuching. In addition to other branding spots, hosts of the SUKMA Games highlights will be wearing exclusive Natasya Princess sports T-shirt during the segment.
