Kudos Content founder to relocate to Dubai

Singapore-based content agency Kudos is to relocate to the United Arab Emirates as founder Lee Boden moves to Dubai for personal reasons.

Boden told Mumbrella today that the business would continue to operate as normal, and work with clients that include SAP from his new Dubai base.

The news comes just five months after the arrival of Pete Mitchell, who has equity in the business

Boden confirmed that Kudos Content was “still in business” and has long worked with clients in the Middle East that currently include Visit Britain.

Mitchell joined Kudos as a partner following a two-year stint at snack giant Mondelēz, where he was global head of innovation. He left after a “mutually agreed decision” in November 2015.

He had a brief to raise the profile of the company and grow the business.

Mitchell is currently in the UK, and returns to Singapore next month where he will be participating in the Spikes Asia event running the Young Spikes Media Academy.  He told Mumbrella that he is working out the ramifications of Boden’s move, but remains a co-owner of the business.

Kudos ContentBoden, who like long-time friend Mitchell spent much of his career on the media agency side of the business, set up Kudos Content in 2013.

The agency has around six full-time staff in Singapore and clients that have included HSBC, Sunquick, Unilever and Tokio Marine.

Boden said that the timing on his move to Dubai has yet to be finalised.
