Festival of Media Asia launches nine new categories including best use of traditional media and best localisation

The Festival of Media Asia Pacific Awards have introduced nine new categories this year, including best use of gamification and a section that rewards the best use of traditional media.

Other categories new or tweaked this year recognise the best local execution of a brand, and a section for the large volume of do-gooding campaigns that emerge around awards season.

Excellence in influencer marketing, real-time marketing, creative use of data, branded entertainment and insight will also be rewarded this year at the ceremony on 22 March 2017 in Singapore.

The entries deadline is 25 November.

Last year’s big winner was a programmatic video campaign for KFC Malaysia by Ensemble.
