Netflix Asia reveals the real life midnight diners of Hong Kong to promote new show
Netflix has launched a short film to promote the new series of its original production The Midnight Diner.
A three-minute film highlights real midnight diners living in Hong Kong, including a circus performer and a tie-die artists.
Netflix’s The Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories features Kaoru Kobayashi, Joe Odagiri and Mansaku Fuwa, who are patrons of a Japanese diner connected by their fondness for a particular dish.
Netflix’s approach to promoting its service in Asia since it launched at the beginning of the year has been a mixture of content from its shows and original content.
The internet television firm’s social media agency is The Secret Little Agency, and the company recently appointed Weber Shandwick as its agency in Singapore and Malaysia.
