Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau targets millennials with ‘drug buster’ bus tour
Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau is going on a tour of the island with a bus that aims to warn of the dangers of getting high.
The Drug Buster Academy Bus is a vehicle decked out like the inside of a space ship that takes visitors on an educational tour of drug taking.
Facial scanning and augmented reality have been used to reveal the long-term impact of drug abuse on the body to counter the idea that drug use is not harmful or addictive.
The tour comes as the Central Narcotics Bureau launches the new social media identity, @CNB.DrugfreeSG, as part of its mission to make Singapore ‘drugs free’.
