We’re here to talk, says Maybank in debut campaign by Leo Burnett Singapore
Maybank has created a brand campaign for the Singapore market with the promise that it is the bank that is “here to talk”.
A debut campaign by Leo Burnett Singapore since its appointment as agency of record at the end of August begins with a crying baby in a cot and the words “We were born to talk… with words or without. We spend out lives searching for that person who listens.”
“Everything in life starts with a conversation. We’re here to talk,” the ad concludes.
Malaysia’s Maybank, which recently won a customer service award for the Singapore market, competes with the likes of UOB, DBS and HSBC for share of the citystate’s banking sector.
The Maybank business replaces a bank-sized gap in Leo Burnett Singapore’s client roster since the departure of the UOB account in 2014.
Lamest strategy ever for a bank….full blown recession going on and the best they can do is lets talk…..does this agency have a planner?
