Singapore-born platform claims brands get 10X level of engagement through local influencers

NarratrsA Singapore-based company has launched a platform that connect brands with local, small-scale social media influencers known as “micro influencers”.

Called, its creator One9Social claims its network of 5,000 micro influencers can generate 10 times the engagement ratios of better known (macro) influencers.

The platform goes to market offering “influence on tap”; brands and agencies can post a brief on the site and expect a response from influencers overnight.

Narratrs manages campaigns from brief to content management, performance reporting and payment.

The site’s co-founder Laurent Verrier, who is also founder and CEO of Singapore social media agency One9Ninety, which is part of The Marketing Group, noted that a recent US$25,000 campaign on Instagram and Facebook for the Singapore and Malaysia markets generated 374 pieces of photo content, with 3.28 million reach and 75,000 engagements in five days.

The platform counts Microsoft, Yahoo!, Opel, Neutrogena, Acuvue, Montblanc, Häagen-Dazs, Visa, Guinness, Coach, Starcom, Universal McCann, BBDO and UM as clients since soft launching in March.
