Chinese brand consultancy Labbrand expands to Singapore
Chinese brand consultancy Labbrand has expanded to Singapore and pledged to guide clients through the “challenges” of breaking into diverse Asia markets.
The company, which opened an office in New York in October, has established an on-the-ground presence in Singapore to be led by Yukino Yamamoto.
Shangai-headquartered Lanbbrand was founded by Vladimir Djurovic in 2005 and lists Airbnb, Volkswagen, Marriot, LinkedIn, Unilever and Mondelez as among its clients.
“The opening of Labbrand Singapore is a very important step for our group,” he said. “Singapore plays an important role, both regionally and globally, and we expect to start an exciting journey of brand innovation and exploration with our clients to uncover new ways to inspire, grow and disrupt their brands.”
Yamamoto said international brands often struggle in Asia.
“Asia is comprised of diverse cultures and consumer behaviours, all at different stages of economic development. Our international clients often face challenges to breakthrough in these diverse markets,” he said.
“With our Singapore office we will enable our clients to strengthen their foothold in Asia with more timely and in-depth insights into local cultural nuances which, in turn, will inform strategy that ensures smarter, more confident branding decisions.”
