IPG Mediabrands’ social media agency Rally Worldwide rebrands as Society in Malaysia

societySocial media agency Rally Worldwide has been rebranded as Society in Malaysia.

The move will see the IPG Mediabrands shop evolve its offering from social community management services towards data-driven content-marketing.

The agency has also launched Society 48, a content development initiative that allows brands to “create, manage and build upon trending conversations amongst netizens within 48 hours”, said the agency in a statement. It also intends to tap into the growth in global social advertising revenue, increasing its 75-strong specialist team by a further 15 per cent.

Stanley Clement, managing director of Society Malaysia, said: “It is no longer just about content amplification. Meaningful and engaging content drives brand affinity which then translates to commerce. With Society Malaysia’s data-driven insights, we are in good stead to take our clients’ brand stories towards even greater heights.”

The agency’s client list includes Nestle, Malaysia Airlines, U Mobile, Watsons, Johnson & Johnson and KFC.
