Ex Mondelez director Pete Mitchell emerges at Mutiny amid closure of Kudos Content

Pete MitchellFormer Mondelez marketer Pete Mitchell has been unveiled as a co-founder of Singapore digital start-up Mutiny Consulting after it emerged his most recent employer, Kudos Content, is no longer operating, Mumbrella can reveal.

Mitchell joined Kudos, and took a stake in the agency, in April last year but according to his LinkedIn profile parted company with the business in December.

He joins former Brand New Media executive Nick Fawbert at Mutiny, who established the company in October.

Kudos Content logoUncertainty surrounding Kudos emerged in August when founder Lee Boden relocated to Dubai last August for personal reasons.

And while the intention was to keep the business operating, it is understood to have quietly closed down.

Boden, who like Fawbert is long-time friend of Mitchell, set up Kudos Content in 2013.

Mutiny specialises in “business transformation through digital marketing” with Mitchell explaining there is “enormous” growth in e-learning in Asia through the creation of short form videos.

At the launch Fawbert said Mutiny will look at tackle key challenges facing brands including how they take on board new technology and new ways of thinking, the role of digital within an organisation, and filling the gaps in companies that are lacking in their digital capabilities.

Prior to joining Kudos, Mitchell was global media innovations director at Mondelez in Singapore, a role he held for two years before leaving in December 2015 after a “mutually agreed decision”.

Mutiny Consulting logoMitchell said Mutiny offers “bespoke programme development” to support the creation of long term digital marketing strategies.

He said it will assist in “the delivery of skills and talent development through workshop and elearning programmes”, with a focus on the latter.
