Iflix goes live in Vietnam
Malaysian online streaming platform Iflix has launched in Vietnam.
The announcement:
Iflix Vietnam country manager Tung Hoang said: “We are incredibly excited to bring Iflix’s world class service to Vietnam. Offering users a fantastic selection of the best TV shows and movies from all over the world, to stream or download on any device of their choice, Iflix is primed to revolutionise the way Vietnamese consume entertainment.”
“We understand that countries are different and what local consumers want in each market is different. We have created our service in Vietnam specifically for a Vietnamese audience. From content to marketing, our customers are at the core of everything we do.”
Monthly retail subscriptions for one month of unlimited access to Iflix will cost 59.000 VNĐ (US$ 2.50). Annual subscribers will pay a discounted 540.000 VNĐ (US$ 24) per year.
Now available in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brunei, the Maldives, Pakistan and Vietnam, Iflix will continue to roll out its service to key additional emerging markets in the coming months.
