Precious metals brand Degussa aims for human touch with couples’ sofa stories of love

Creative agency Blak Labs has produced a Valentine’s Day campaign for precious metals retailer Degussa Singapore in a bid to showcase a more “human side” to the brand.

The social push features real couples speaking about moments in their lives that demonstrated their love for one another.

Degusaa said that while it is known for buying and selling precious metals, it wanted to use Valentine’s Day to promote awareness of its range of gifts, including its gold-plated roses which feature at the end of the videos.

“It’s an emotional product that symbolises enduring love. This campaign allows us to showcase a more human side to the brand,” said head of marketing and communications Bunnarith Lo.

“As the couples share their journeys, we see first-hand how true love can endure the steepest hurdles. It’s an irresistible emotion that’s rooted in Degussa’s products and the brand’s DNA.”
