Google Singapore boss Joanna Flint promoted to lead agency business

Google Singapore country director Joanna Flint has been promoted to managing director of agency business for the Asia Pacific region.

In her new role, effective from May, Flint will lead Google’s in-house creative agency The Zoo and oversee the tech giant’s partnerships with regional creative and media agencies.

Flint has been with Google since 2009, joining as regional head for account and agency development and then later for packaged goods. She was promoted to managing director for Singapore in January 2014.

Prior to joining Google, Flint was a senior consultant and planner for OgilvyOne in Singapore and has previously led British Airways and then Singapore Airlines’ global foray into e-commerce and customer relations management from their respective headquarters.

Google has still to find a replacement to fill the vacant country director role.
