Ex-Publicis Singapore ECD Troy Lim moves to Y&R
Y&R Singapore has named Troy Lim as the agency’s new executive creative director to work alongside the recently-appointed CEO Shirley Tay.
Lim, along with Jon Loke, left Publicis Singapore earlier this year, where they both held the ECD role.

Troy has been instrumental as creative lead on clients such as Audi, Scoot, Nikon, AXA, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (SG50), National Environment Agency, Soyjoy and Singapore Health Promotion Board, just to name a few.
Besides partnering with clients to solve their business problems, Troy is also an ardent mentor and supporter of creative talent and continual learning, and sits on the advisory board of Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Communications.
Commenting on his new role, Lim said: “The needs of clients are constantly changing, and I’m most interested in seeing how I can use creativity and the various tools at our disposal – such as AI, design and technology – to come up with innovative solutions to our clients’ problems.”
Tay added: “I look forward to working alongside Troy again, his depth and breadth of skills make him the ideal creative partner to continue to build our Y&R Singapore team on its considerable strengths and further capitalize upon its future potential.”
