Singapore Airlines’ celebrates 70th anniversary with animated film

TBWA\Singapore has created a heartwarming 3D animated film to celebrate Singapore Airlines’ 70th anniversary.

The three-minute film entitled The Magic Pen centres on the theme of bringing people closer to their loved ones.

Released on Facebook, the film follows a young Singaporean boy who believes he has found a magic pen. However, when it fails to bring his father back from a long business trip, the boy is left heartbroken.

But, of course there is a happy ending, as the real magic happens when the father returns home earlier than planned on Singapore Airlines to surprise his son.

The video has so far been viewed more than three million times on Facebook.

“This year marks Singapore Airlines’ 70th anniversary and we want to thank our customers for being part of our journey over the last seven decades,” said the airlines’ senior vice president for sales and marketing, Campbell Wilson.

“The Magic Pen’ reflects our commitment to place our customers at the heart of everything we do and we are delighted to play a role in bringing people closer together.”
