Click2View plots expansion into print with former FT editor hire
Singaporean content marketing agency Click2View has tapped former Financial Times journalist Jackie Shorey as its editorial director.
In her new role, Shorey will oversee the company’s editorial content and its blogging accounts. She will also bring 30 years of business and magazine journalism experience to Click2View as it plans to build a custom publishing division.
Having left the FT after 18 years in 2002, Shorey worked as a freelance journalist across the UK, Canada and India for two years, before moving onto to various editorial roles. In 2009, she spent a year in Singapore as an editor at Orient Global, before joining the Brunswick Review in New York, where she acted as editor for seven years.
She will take over duties previously overseen by Simon Kearney, Click2View’s founder and CEO, and will work alongside part-time content director Tim Colman.
She said: “As a die-hard wordsmith, I’m excited at the chance to work alongside Click2View’s film, social media and animation experts to deliver cracking corporate storytelling on behalf of an amazing roster of clients.”
Her appointment follows the departure of Click2View co-founder and former CEO Neal Moore, who left the business to focus on his film production company in May.
