RFI Asia scoops accounts with Nike Hong Kong and Tencent Social Ads

RFI Asia, the digital arm of public relations agency Ruder Finn, has bagged two major wins with Nike and Chinese internet giant Tencent.

Nike Hong Kong has appointed RFI Asia to manage its Facebook pages, including Nike Running, Nike Women, and Nike Sports Wear, with a remit including overall strategy, editorial planning, content creation, and community management.

The announcement:

In China, RFI Asia has been retained by Tencent Social Ads to help the Internet pioneer market its adtech products to advertisers, as well as create sales automation tools that empower their business teams.

Tencent Social Ads is a business unit of Tencent, one of the largest internet companies in the world. RFI is helping Tencent Social Ads develop WeChat mini-programs that showcase its complete line of products and services, and advertiser case studies. RFI will also provide integrated marketing communication service to Tencent’s adtech offerings, including the data and insights products.

David Ko, Head of RFI Asia, said, “We are incredibly proud to add these iconic brands to our portfolio of prestigious clients, allowing us to create world-class branded content that we distribute across not just social media but owned and paid channels too.”

Jean Michel Dumont, Chairman of Ruder Finn Asia, said, “These wins speak volumes for the value that digital brings to our client offerings. As well as growing their own client portfolio, RFI has become an increasingly important support for all Ruder Finn offices whose clients are now demanding support in digital marketing. RFI Asia has accelerated its momentum over the last couple of years, creating and releasing new and exciting offerings to meet clients’ needs.”
