Vizeum replaces China CEO with MediaCom’s Dominic Ng

MediaCom China’s Dominic Ng has left the GroupM-owned network to take over the role of  Vizeum China chief executive officer.

Ng, who was MediaCom’s managing partner for seven years, has taken over from Terrence Yung, and will report to Phil Teeman, group managing director of Dentsu Aegis Network China.

Yung has held the role of Vizeum CEO since 2014, when he was moved from the leadership of Aegis Media China. DAN has so far not revealed whether Yung will remain within the company or not.

Teeman said: “We look for innovative leaders who can deliver business growth in an increasingly complex and convergent environment. Dominic’s strategic understanding of the business and proven track record in managing high profile brands known for innovation make him the ideal person to take Vizeum forward.”

Dominic added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Vizeum. It’s a dynamic agency with a clear vision on how to help clients grow. I look forward to working closely with the talented team and the entire Dentsu Aegis Network to continue building the Vizeum brand in China.”
