DigitasLBi Singapore hires strategist behind Compare The Market’s ‘Meerkat Movies’

Publicis Sapient-owned agency DigitasLBi Singapore has appointed a new data strategy director in a bid to boost its consultancy and CRM offering.

Sridhar Gadhiraju has joined the Singapore agency from London, where he was a CRM strategist for car insurance comparison website Compare The Market – famed for its quirky, award-winning ‘Meerkat’ campaigns.

During his two-year tenure at Compare The Market, Gadhiraju was responsible for the company’s campaign and CRM strategies and for planning its ‘Meerkat Movies’ rewards programs.

Gadhiraju has a decade of experience in data and consulting across several sectors including tech, banking and telecommunications. Companies under his belt include cable broadcaster Sky, and BT.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading Digitas LBi’s major engagements and for “ensuring the integrity of all data services” out of Singapore. He will report into Patrick Milburn, the Asia-Pacific head of data and analytics.

Gadhiraju said: “I am passionate about data and the stories that it tells and I’m excited to be part of the expanding DigitasLBi data story as I think the agency has a unique approach to providing the best possible solution and services to clients.”
