Neeraj Khanna takes on marketing communications director role at Omnicom Media Group

Omnicom Media Group APAC has named Neeraj Khanna as its new marketing communications director, reporting into Cheuk Chiang, the group’s CEO for Asia Pacific.

The announcement:

Khanna joins the APAC regional team from Dubai, where he served in a similar capacity for the group’s networks across the Middle East and North Africa since 2014. In his new role, he will be responsible for helping to drive the continued positive exposure of Omnicom Media Group’s brands, namely OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science.

The appointment follows Arun Saha’s departure from the group to pursue independent ventures. Saha served the group’s agencies in the capacity of marketing communications for over six years and has been instrumental in the growth of the brands during her tenure.

Commenting on the appointment, Chiang added: “The past two years have seen an extremely high level of positive exposure for our brands in the region, with OMD’s strong performance at awards festivals and PHD’s consistent strong growth. With Neeraj’s knowledge of our brands and great success in building our corporate reputation in MENA, he is sure to raise the bar on our comms activity and corporate reputation.”
