W+K Delhi hires Leo Burnett’s Lubna Khan as head of strategy

Wieden+Kennedy Delhi has appointed Lubna Khan as its new head of strategy.

Lubna, who has more than 18 years of experience in strategy and planning, previously worked at Leo Burnett Orchard.

The announcement: 

Prior to W+K Delhi, Lubna was at Leo Burnett Orchard, where she was the National Strategy Head.

Over the course of her career, Lubna has worked across a diverse set of categories, partnering with organisations like Amazon, P&G, ITC, Wipro, Nestle, GSK Consumer Healthcare, Suntory, Maybank, Kao, Samsung, Microsoft, Nokia, LG, and Airtel, to create communication with demonstrable impact on brands, businesses, culture and people.

She has previously also worked with WPP agencies including Grey, JWT, Wunderman and Y&R, in both India and Malaysia.

Commenting on the latest addition to the team, Sidharth Loyal, Managing Director, W+K Delhi said, “As W+K enters into its next phase of growth, it is our commitment to further reinforce and build on our strategic offering to help deliver a more effective creative product, and Lubna’s extensive experience combined with a unique insight into human psychology is a definite asset”.

In addition, Lubna has been recognised by WPP’s Atticus Awards for her work in the area of Innovation Strategy, and has also won several effectiveness awards, including the APAC Effie, The Warc Prize for Asian Strategy, The International AME and the Asian Marketing Effectiveness and Strategy Award.

Lubna has also co-authored a book on Strategic Communication for HIV/ AIDS, which still serves as the core reference for the Government of India.
