DigitasLBi wins digital account with Roche-Foundation Medicine APAC

DigitasLBi has won the digital strategy business for Roche-Foundation Medicine in Asia-Pacific following a pitch.

The Publicis Sapient-owned agency will handle B2B digital marketing strategies targeted at oncologists across countries such as Singapore, Thailand and Australia.

The account will be overseen alongside the company’s creative agency McCann Health Singapore.

The win marks Digitas LBi’s second major pharma scoop this year. In March, the agency won the account to launch a heart failure drug for Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis in Singapore.

Following the win, the agency produced the ‘Bloken Hearts’ campaign, which  starred Singaporean comedian Henry Thia in a bid to encourage the younger generation to spot the signs of heart failure in their older relatives.

The Roche-Foundation account will focus more on digital strategy than creative execution, which will be left in the hands of McCann, the agency said.

DigitasLBi chief strategy officer Justin Peyton said: “We are excited to partner with Roche and McCann Health Singapore on what we believe to be a very important subject. With our expertise in data and digital help we hope to develop strategies that make a difference to lives of real people.”
