72andSunny Singapore hires TBWA Shanghai’s Lisi Davis as MD

The recently opened Singaporean branch of American agency 72andSunny has hired a managing director to lead its local operations.

Lisi Davis previously spent the last three years acting as the MD of TBWA\Media Arts Lab Shanghai, where she led the agency’s Apple account.

She has also worked at Ogilvy & Mather as the North Asia regional business director for Dove China, BBDO Worldwide as a vice president/account director on Henkel & Wrigley International and Leo Burnett Tokyo in a similar role on P&G’s beauty care.

Davis follows fellow  Shanghai alumnus, Johnny Tan, who left his role BBH China’s chief creative officer last year to join 72andSunny as executive creative director. Tan also hold the same role as the agency’s recently-opened base in Sydney.

Four months after launching, the agency hired Chiew Ling Tan as director of talent and operations.

Davis said: “I’m incredibly inspired by 72andSunny’s unique philosophy, progressive ways of working, and ability to impact culture. I’m so excited to be joining the 72andSunny team at this key moment as they continue to expand globally, and to be a part of bringing their vision to life in Asia.”

“As with Johnny, Chiew Ling, and the rest of our growing team, we feel with Lisi we have found someone who has great global credentials, deep regional experience and sensibilities, and most importantly is just a nice and smart team player,” said Chris Kay, global managing director and partner. “We can’t wait to see the work that this mix will bring to Singapore and beyond.”
