BBDO’s Lee Tak Shune moves to Publicis One Malaysia as ECD

Publicis One Malaysia has named BBDO creative director Lee Tak Shune as its new executive creative director.

Publicis One, the consolidated operation of Publicis Groupe’s creative agencies in under-performing markets, has tasked Lee with the overall creative leadership of the agency in Malaysia as well as responsibilities to selected brands.

The announcement:

Lee, who was most recently Creative Director at BBDO Malaysia, has worked on brands including Fonterra, U Mobile, Guardian, Vinda, Unilever, Tesco Malaysia, BMW, Nando’s, Expedia and Eveready. With 17 years of creative experience behind him, his body of work has been recognized at leading awards shows that includes Cannes Lions, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, AdFest, the Kancil Awards and the EFFIES Awards.

Speaking about Lee’s appointment, Tan said, “We are driving transformational change across the entire Publicis One business model where we seek dynamic creative talents who are ready for change, adapt and take charge on these changes across our large and diverse business. Shune brings a lot of that energy and we are looking forward to have him on board to drive the creative innovation of our clients, as well as play an integral role in Publicis One’s creative council.”
