Havas Media Singapore CEO Jacqui Lim handed APAC role

The chief executive officer of Havas Media Singapore has been promoted to Asia-Pacific head of business development.

Jacqui Lim, who has been in the role for the past three years, will continue to manage Singapore operations, but will take on additional responsibilities covering the region.

She will now report to Havas Group’s chairman and CEO Mike Amour, in addition to Vishnu Mohan, Havas Media chairman and CEO for the group for India and South East Asia.

According to a release, Lim will work with Havas Creative Group’s new business team led by Sunny Hermano to “roll out a new business strategy centred around the network’s integrated Village model”.

Lim first joined Havas as managing director of its Singapore and Malaysian offices in October 2014, having previously worked at ZenithOptimedia.

At the end of 2016, she replaced Melvin Lim as CEO for Singapore, leading the agency as it won business with Changi Airport, Singtel, Fairprice, Warner Bros., Health Promotion Board, Cycle & Carriage, Wildlife Reserves and Esplanade.

She was also the winner of Mumbrella Asia’s Agency Leader of the Year title in February 2017.

She said: “The core of what we do is delivering the best business solutions that moves our client’s business forward and I strongly believe that Havas Group with its integrated model is best placed to deliver these results.

“This is exactly what makes me passionate about new business. I am looking forward to working with the regional and local management teams to expand our client portfolio and take our regional new business proposition forward.”
