Visa appoints new country manager for Singapore and Brunei

Payments giant Visa has appointed Kunal Chatterjee as country manager for Singapore and Brunei.

A 10-year company veteran, Chatterjee previously led Visa’s global account team for Citibank in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The announcement:

Kunal is a proven team leader with an in-depth knowledge of payments and a strong understanding of the Singapore business. He has hands on market experience as a former member of Visa’s Singapore country team where he led the Business Development function for three and a half years.

Kunal Chatterjee, Visa’s Country Manager for Singapore and Brunei said: “I am thrilled to be returning to Visa’s Singapore country team and have the opportunity to lead our operations in the exciting markets of Singapore and Brunei. I am looking forward to growing the talent in our team and working closely with our clients and merchants to introduce new payment innovations that benefit consumers, businesses and the government.”

Prior to joining Visa, Kunal spent a number of years working in banking and finance in a variety of roles at banks in India and in the consulting domain in Asia Pacific markets.
