ESPN South East Asia boss Joyee Biswas moves to Facebook

The South East Asia boss of sports media giant ESPN has joined Facebook as the social network’s head of Asia-Pacific sports partnerships.

Joyee Biswas, who has previously held senior roles at Eleven Sports Network and Singtel, will be tasked with overseeing Facebook’s partnerships with APAC-based leagues, teams, athletes and sports media.

He will continue to be based in Singapore.

The announcement:

Biswas said: “I am delighted to share that I will be soon starting at Facebook as the Head of APAC Sports Partnerships. In this role I will manage partnerships with APAC-based leagues, teams, athletes and sports media across all Facebook-owned platforms.

“Facebook provides a new-age experience in bringing compelling content and storytelling to the sports community. I am very excited to be part of this thrilling journey and look forward to collaborating with partners across the industry to help them achieve their business goals on these platforms.
