McCann Taiwan appoints academic Eric Chang as CEO

Ad industry veteran Eric Chang has been appointed chief executive officer at McCann Worldgroup Taiwan.

He has more than 25 years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing and relationship marketing.

Chang was previously OgilvyOne Worldwide managing director of Taiwan and vice-president of business development for Asia-Pacific – where the client base stretched across finance, technology, automotive, telecoms and consumer goods.

He is also an academic, serving as assistant professor at three of the country’s universities.

“Eric’s unrivalled digital expertise and experience in Taiwan makes him the ideal leader to chart McCann Worldgroup’s continued development in the market,” said Charles Cadell, president of McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific.
