AI specialist SilverPush flags South East Asia as ‘biggest priority’ as revenue chief moves to Singapore

Artificial intelligence marketing specialist SilverPush has relocated its chief revenue officer to Singapore in a move designed to drive growth across South East Asia.

Kartik Mehta will oversee expansion in a region it now regards as its “biggest priority”.

SilverPush already operates in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Singapore, but is convinced the market is ripe for growth.

The India-based company, which helps brands reach audiences through real-time TV tracking and what it called “TV-digital sync solutions”, said while TV has been the dominant medium for advertisers, the gap between TV and mobile is closing.

Such dynamics mean brands need to step up their engagement across multiple platforms, SilverPush said.

Kartik Mehta: Southeast Asia is our biggest priority

“SilverPush’s further expansion into Southeast Asia is to help more brands operating in there to reach their multi-screening customers more effectively via their real time platforms,” Mehta said. “With one of the world’s highest internet and mobile penetration rates, in addition to brands’ investment on TV in the region, the Southeast Asian market has become our biggest priority.”

The company lists local brands Indofood, Unilab and Tiger Beer as clients along with international firms Unilever, Nestle, KFC, Coca-Cola and Samsung.
