FCB shouts loud about 4 client wins in 3 months at Malaysia’s ‘fastest growing agency’

Foote, Cone & Belding Group has won four new clients in Malaysia in the last three months and chalked up seven new business wins in the past year, according to a statement put out by the agency today.

The wins include creative duties for the portal PropertyGuru, UEM Sunrise’s upcoming property development in Desaru Coast in Johor Bahru, Malaysian electrical brand ELBA and the Marriott International group in Malaysia.

FCB Group Malaysia co-owner and chief executive officer Shaun Tay – who manages a team of 40 – attributed the wins to the “common vision and relentless ambition carried by everyone in the agency”, which he claimed was the “fastest growing agency in Malaysia”.

Tay bought out FCB’s Malaysian operations from FCB Worldwide last year, along with his fellow co-owner Shi-Ping – who is also chief creative officer at the agency.

The other clients coming onboard in the last 12 months were SaSa, Eyelevel and the Westin Desaru Coast. Clients already on the books were said to include Beiersdorf, RHB Bank, Motorola, Mondelez, ACER and Clorox.

FCB claims it focuses on creating ‘never finished’ campaign ideas for clients “that reflect a deep understanding of the brand’s past, a respect for the present and an anticipation of the future potential”.
