WATConsult facing ‘complex’ market as agency picks up digital account for Domino’s India

Domino’s Pizza has handed its digital media account in India to WATConsult after a competitive pitch with the agency facing a “very complex and extremely competitive” space.The Dentsu Aegis agency will manage Domino’s presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat.

The account will be managed by WATConsult Delhi.

WATConsult founder and chief executive Rajiv Dingra admitted the agency faced a challenging market.

“We are very delighted to welcome Domino’s Pizza in our bouquet,” he said. “The space that Domino’s operates in is a very complex and extremely competitive one thus we are looking forward to produce some really exciting work in the coming future.”

The chief digital officer of Domino’s parent Jubilant FoodWorks, Anand Thakur described its hunt for a digital agency as a “rigorous selection process”.

“We believe WATConsult’s innovative approach will take the brand to the next level,” he said. “Through this collaboration we look at harnessing their rich experience in the digital space to strengthen and expand our digital outreach.”
