Asia Pacific Breweries close to appointing agency for creative and social duties at Guinness following pitch

Asia Pacific Breweries has completed a pitch for creative and social media duties for Guinness in Singapore, with the brand close to naming its agency partner, Mumbrella understands.

The company is said to be finalising contract negotiations after seeking fresh ideas in the market.

BBDO has worked on the Guinness account for APB, drafting in professional surfer Luke Landrigan for a campaign last year.

PR agency Golin was awarded the PR, digital and social account for Guinness in 2016 for an unspecified period.

BBDO has been approached for comment.

APB declined to comment.

Golin said it was still working on projects for Guinness “and will finish those in the next two months”.
