Lowe Lintas creates ad to promote two-wheeler mode of transport in Google Maps
Lowe Lintas Delhi has created a campaign for Google Maps in India to promote the option to plot journeys on two wheels.
The mode was introduced in India at the end of 2017 with the campaign designed to raise awareness among consumers.
India has among the highest use of motorbikes in the world, representing 70% of all registered vehicles in the country, according to Lowe Lintas.
The 60-second spot, #LookBeforeYouLeave, illustrates how bikes can use back lanes and take short cuts that cars are unable to do.
The ad, which shows motorcyclists nipping around congested Indian streets, includes a message that the “use of mobile phones while driving/riding is not safe and is not recommended”.
