The announcement:
The Condé Nast Center of Fashion & Design’s Shanghai outpost, has appointed Reuter Communications as its retained agency in China.
The luxury intelligence, communications and marketing agency will oversee strategic and digital communications in China to develop and raise awareness as the Center evolves its strategic offering and positioning. The agency is responsible for: digital activation, media strategy, launches, public relations, influencer and strategic collaborations, and event management.
In strategic response to the ever-changing social and industry landscape – the Center has become a mobile education provider. The Condé Nast Center’s courses are offered at select, quality locations across the city. This move serves to better integrate the courses into the community, relevant to its members needs and mobile lifestyles – continuing to place the Condé Nast Center as a versatile destination for connecting to the world of fashion, beauty, design and lifestyle in an innovative and social way.
Dominique Simard, Executive Director, Condé Nast Center of Fashion & Design, said: “Becoming a mobile education provider allows us to be in line with current trends in society and the wider economy by sharing existing quality venues that will further inspire and improve our holistic offering. It also allows our students and industry partners to discover and experience different venues that may often be even more convenient to them than our previous Center. We are confident that Reuter Communications’ integrated offering and strategic approach makes them the ideal partner to support us on our journey.”
A further innovation for the Center will be the development of its digital offerings, with its WeChat account receiving a substantial upgrade. Users will be able to search within the Center’s own official account to find information on courses, events and more.
Chloé Reuter, Founder and CEO, Reuter Communications, said “We’re delighted to be working with the Center to bring digital innovation and engagement to help them grow both awareness and clients.”
