APB hands Guinness creative, social and PR work to Iris in Singapore

Asia Pacific Breweries has appointed Iris Singapore as lead creative agency for its creative, social and PR work on Guinness in Singapore, Mumbrella can reveal.

It followed a pitch process conducted by the brand, reported by Mumbrella last month.

The partnership will see the agency develop a brand platform that leverages on the global ‘Made of More’ Guinness messaging, APB said.

The company said it will “further brand recruitment across all ages by creating impactful engagement with the brand, with exciting projects in the pipeline”.

“Credit goes to Team Guinness for demanding a bold response to their real business need,” Iris Singapore creative director Ed Cheong said. “We’re proud of our appointment and it’s time to let our work do the talking.”

BBDO had worked on the Guinness account for APB, drafting in professional surfer Luke Landrigan for a campaign last year. The agency did not take part in the pitch.

PR agency Golin had been appointed to work on the PR, digital and social account for Guinness in 2016 for an unspecified period.
